Jackass, Junior Jose Serrano and his pals in Hartford, Conn., were recreating some of the stunts
they saw on MTV's show "Jackass:" leaping over chain-link fences, doing backflips,
the usual stuff. Then Jose found the can of engine degreaser. Maybe he was just 11
years old or so, but he knew what "flammable" meant. Being
responsible kids, though, they came up with what they thought was
a safer way to recreate stuntman Johnny Knoxville's fire trick. Jose soaked a rag with degreaser, wrapped it around his gym pants
and set it on fire. He ended upin a Hartford children's hospital
with second-degree burns. MTV's comment? "While we don't accept responsibility, obviously we
feel horrible when a young person does something to hurt
themselves." - DailyDarwin.com Staff
