An ingenious gardener tested the laws of gravity last Friday while mowing a lawn near Sydney. The gardener rode his riding mower off an 18-foot cliff, smashing the mower on the rocks below. The loser lawn-mower-man luckily leapt off his lawn mower into the shallow water below, breaking his fall. Fortunately, he sustained only minor back and leg injuries. A brilliant spokesperson at the scene was quoted to say, "It was a steep bit of lawn so maybe he shouldn't have been mowing there." No kidding. Emergency crews had to winch the man back up to dry land.
