A 16-year-old boy from Nottingham, UK, isn't sitting in school waiting to see if he has passed his exams. Nope -- he has been checked into the Queen's Medical Centre and is waiting patiently to see if he can successfully pass the estimated 30 heroin wraps he ate to avoid arrest.

The unnamed boy has spent at least five days under the watchful eyes of emergency specialists as they monitor him closely to see if the tightly-wrapped cellophane packages will bursts before exiting his system.

If even one package breaks, experts agree, it will most likely cause an instant high followed by the teenager's instant death.

The boy swallowed the wraps when he was approached in the street by inspectors cracking down on drug dealers in a specific area of Nottingham.
