A 45-year-old Romanian man is lucky the drunk drivers in Timisoara are so polite. Last week Mircea Criste was furious when a bartender refused to serve him more alcohol. In fact, he was so upset at the bartender that he finally decided to stage a protest against "bartenders who don't know how to do their jobs."

In his drunken state, he did the worst thing he could think of doing -- he stripped naked and lay down in the middle of the road outside of the bar.

Polite drunk drivers making their way home carefully swerved around Criste for over three hours while bystanders watched in amusement. When he finally began to sober up, the police were notified. Suffering from exposure, he was immediately transported by ambulance to a hospital where he was admitted for treatment.
